CHRISTINA COLE ABBOUD

Principal, Founder

Christina Cole Abboud is a designer and LEED AP, based in Austin, TX with more than 15 years of experience working in the design industry. She offers her clients a holistic approach and creative process that draws from a multi-disciplinary background in design.She complements her professional practice with her academic career, having taught Architecture, and Urban Design at the Catholic University of America (CUA) in Washington, DC and Barcelona, Spain. She served four years as Director of the Barcelona Studio where she co-taught design with faculty from La Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya. Most recently, Christina held the position of Director of International Programs in Architecture at the Catholic University of America, School of Architecture and Planning.

She is an award-winning designer and has been published by ElleDecor, Harpers Bazaar Arabia and Milieu Magazine.

MONA MOSTOFI

Director of Operations

Our Director of Operations, Mona Mostofi, shifted industries and comes to the design world from a background in higher education. With a Masters degree in foreign language and literature and a thesis that delved into space theory, her global perspective and appreciation for interiors inform how she can seamlessly embrace the offerings at Canvas. Managing a university-level language program and with account development experience at a Fortune 500 company- her business savviness also prove valuable.

The crossroads of technical and creative has led Mona to design with an outlook that embraces the unique offerings at Canvas and strives to showcas e the authentic intentions of each collection.

HANNAH CRUTCHFIELD

Senior Designer

Hannah holds a master's degree in interior design from the University of Texas at Austin, where she received design excellence nominations and was recognized as one of Metropolis Magazine's 2023 Future100.

Prior to joining Christina Cole & Co, she gained valuable experience as an intern at Michael Hsu Office of Architecture in 2022. With her affinity for artful and refined spaces, Hannah seeks to bring articulated and innovative design solutions that will leave a lasting impact.

ARIZA CANTU

Ariza fell in love with interior design because it created space to continue evolving her artistic vision while creating spaces that inspire and uplift others. The ability to craft environments that resonate with beauty and functionality became her way of sharing inspiration through design.

Prior to joining the team, she interned with Nuela Design and at Supply Showroom. Her interest in fashion introduced her to the world of fabrics, where she discovered how materials, colors, and textures can come together to create cohesive, functional spaces.

NICK LANNI

Sales Director, Houston

Nick, our Sales Director, comes to Canvas with a decade in the industry, including experience working with a textile mill and a number of textile designers. He is truly a veteran in the design sales space, having worked at showrooms such as Holly Hunt and Kravet. His background in textile design and showroom sales brings a hybrid of creativity and client-relation skills to our team. His love for textiles, furniture and a keen understanding of the showroom experience aligns with Canvas's unique standing in the industry.

STEPHANY BARR

Interior Design Project Management Lead

For Stephany, design is a language - A way to tell stories through space with clarity, intention, and soul. With over a decade of experience and a degree in Interior Architecture from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, she blends creative vision with thoughtful strategy to craft interiors that reflect how people live, feel, and connect.

Her perspective is shaped by a multidisciplinary background and a body of work that spans the globe. Known for her editorial eye and intuitive process, Stephany leads with purpose, creating elevated, grounded spaces that feel lived-in, lasting, and deeply personal.

EMMA RACCUGLIA

Showroom Director, Austin

Emma joins the team with a degree from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in California. Her education, which focused on textiles, paired with her previous hands-on experience coordinating the day-to-day for an LA-based design firm, informs her current approach towards managing clients at Canvas. She is excited to share her taste for creativity and her knowledge of the unique artisans in the collection.
